HOW TO PLAY

THE RAFT

  • You skate on plates of stacked blocks. Plates sink under weight, and faster when blocks get shot off.
  • The black water rises on a timer. Anything it swallows is gone.
  • The map top-right shows every island, north up: pale islands ride high, dark ones sit low, black ones are awash, and the arrow is you. Under it, the water line says when the water starts rising and how many blocks your island still has above it. Amber means two or less; get moving.
  • Skate to higher islands before yours goes under.
  • Loot cells glow chartreuse. Skate over one to grab a weapon, utility or repair.
  • Last Tor standing wins.

THE ISLAND

  • Before a match you wait on a small island with everyone else. Nobody gets hurt there: hits only shove, and falling in the water drops you back in from the sky.
  • Slot 1 holds a Bow: hold fire to draw, release to loose. The glowing pads hand out toys: a Gust Fan (a cone of wind), a Spring Pad (place a block that launches whoever lands on it) and a Popper (confetti).
  • The match starts 30 seconds after the island fills.

THE HOTBAR

  • Six slots along the bottom of the screen. Pickups fill the first empty slot; Ballast and Float-cells stack.
  • Keys 1–6 select a slot, the mouse wheel cycles, and the previous-slot key jumps back to what you held before. On touch, tap a slot.
  • Fire uses whatever is selected: weapons shoot, a selected Ballast is thrown, a selected Float-cell is set at once.

WEAPONS & UTILITIES

CHIPPERAlways in slot 1. Fast pellets, steady damage.
SPLINTERHold fire to charge, release for a heavy shot that shears blocks off the deck. Limited ammo.
MALLETClose range. Big knockback and cracks the block under the hit.
BALLASTUtility: lob a weight onto a plate to sink it faster (two carried).
FLOAT-CELLUtility: hold use to drop a float that lifts your plate for a while.
REPAIRRestores a lost part and some HP on pickup.
